Robert Oliver Murphy Sr., 78, of Cable, passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2018 in Mercy McAuley Center, Urbana.
He was born on March 9, 1940 in Piqua, OH, a son of Charles Oliver and Gladys Anna (Hardin) Murphy. Robert retired from W.B. Marvin Manufacturing Co. after 40 years of service.
Survivors include his wife, Carol L. (Leonard) Murphy and son, Robert Oliver Murphy Jr.
He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Christina Murphy.
