Roy Lee Stevens

Roy Lee Stevens, age 89, of North Hampton, Ohio passed away, Wednesday, October 7, 2026. He was born, November 11, 1936, in Springfield, Ohio, a son of Waldo and Frieda (Ballentine) Stevens.

Roy was a member of the Lawrenceville Church of God where he served as a Deacon and also as an Elder of the church. He worked at Kelly Duplex Mill & Manufacturing Company in Springfield for 41 years, retiring as Plant Superintendent. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, gardening and watching the Cincinnati Reds baseball team.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Alberta (Strickland) Stevens, whom he married in 1959; children, Randy (Terri) Stevens, Jerry (Connie) Stevens, Karen Steele, Mark (Shari) Stevens and Dawn (Keith) Pannell; grandchildren, Mark Stevens, Jr., Marlo Stevens, Richard Stevens, Suzan Evans and Ariel Pannell; six great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews; sisters, Pat Hite and Bonnie Burkhart and a brother, Roger Stevens.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Waldo and Frieda Stevens; a sister, Nancy Myers and a brother, Ralph Stevens.

Visitation will be at 11:00AM Monday, October 12, 2026, at Lawrenceville Church of God, 3131 Fox Hollow Road, Springfield, OH with funeral service at 12:00PM, burial will follow in Terre Haute Cemetery, Terre Haute, OH.
