Sharon Kay (Titus) Shroyer, 65, of Urbana, formerly of Kenton, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, June 28, 2015, in the Ohio State Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio. She was born on January 20, 1950, in Kenton, Ohio to Ruth Anna (Flowers) Titus and the late Leonard Titus. Sharon was a 1968 graduate of Kenton High School, and married Ben L. Shroyer on June 8, 1968. Together they moved to Springfield, where she began working at National City Bank, and remained there until 2002, retiring after more than 30 years. More recently, Sharon served as a deacon at the First Presbyterian Church in Urbana where she was a member, and worked at the Urbana-Champaign County Senior Center. She loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed watching her oldest grandson, Jared, drive his race car, attending car races, and watching her youngest grandson, Justin, play baseball and basketball. Sharon had a kind heart, and will be dearly missed by all those who knew her. Sharon is survived by her mother, Ruth Anna (Flowers) Titus; daughter, Michelle (Kevin) Overholser of Cable; two grandsons, Jared Rupert and Justin Overholser; as well as two brothers, Ron Titus and Roger (Sherrill) Titus, both of Kenton; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Along with her father, Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Shroyer in 2009; as well as a sister-in-law, Judi Titus. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 in the WALTER & STOWE FUNERAL HOME, 642 S. Main St. Urbana, where services will also be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 2, 2015 with Rev. Kevin Horrigan officiating. Burial will follow in Grove Cemetery, Kenton, Ohio.
