Sheila Ilene Sanders

Sheila Ilene Sanders passed away peacefully on September 24, 2025, in Springfield, Ohio, at the age of 62. Born on November 12, 1962, in Ashland, Kentucky, Sheila dedicated her life to caring for others, working as a certified nurses aide for her entire career, most notably at Villa Springfield.

Sheila was cherished by her family, and they were the center of her universe. She is survived by her daughters, Nora (Chris) McClung and Lora (Brandon) Nawman; her loving partner, Doug Rice; a proud grandmother to Cohl McClung, Nathaniel McClung, Sasha Carter, and JJ, and a devoted great-grandmother to Luna McClung.

Sheila is also survived by her twin sister, Cheri Crooks, and siblings John Sanders and Carol (Ken) Rice.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Denvil and Susan Sanders, and her sister, Freda Rose.
