Terry Gene Jacobs

Terry Gene Jacobs, born on December 22, 1953, in Springfield, Ohio, passed away on January 9, 2026 at Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was a man of remarkable dedication to his family, work, and community.

Terry enjoyed a fulfilling career, retiring from Rose City Manufacturing in Springfield, Ohio. Following his retirement, he continued to share his skills and passion for automotive work at W & W Auto Tech. His professionalism and commitment left a lasting impact on those he worked with.

A proud veteran, Terry served honorably and retired from the United States Army. He found joy in building models, playing on the computer, and working on cars, hobbies that reflected his hands-on nature and creativity.

Known for his warm and loving spirit, Terry was a devoted husband to Teresa (Williams) Jacobs, with whom he celebrated 53 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they raised a loving family that included their daughter Rachel Jacobs and son Michael Jacobs. Terry’s legacy continues through his beloved grandchildren, Zane Jacobs, Lindsey Milligan and Samuel Milligan, and great-grandchildren Brentley, Maycie, Paityn, Layne, Kayson, Skyler, Aren, Emariah and Natalie. Terry is also survived by his sister, Jackie (Gary) Johnson.

In his later years, Terry attended Renewed Strength Church, a testament to his strong faith and his desire for spiritual community.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Dorothia Jacobs, his brother James Jacobs Jr., and his beloved daughter Angela Jacobs. Each of them held a special place in Terry's heart, and their memories will live on through those who love him.

Visitation for Terry Gene Jacobs will be held on January 16, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service beginning at 1:00 PM at Walter and Lewis Funeral and Cremation Center, located at 642 S Main St, Urbana, OH 43078.

Terry’s life was a celebration of love, family, and service. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will forever remain within the hearts of his family and friends.
