Terry Lynn Minix

Terry Lynn Minix, 55, of Urbana, passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 in his residence.
He was born on August 14, 1962 in Lima, OH, a son of Stratton and Carol (Orders) Minix. Terry was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard and was a member of the Donald Cannon American Legion Post 238 in Mechanicsburg.
Terry enjoyed classic cars and hot rods and was an Ohio State Buckeyes fan. He enjoyed spending time at Indian Lake and flying in airplanes.
Survivors include his mother, Carol May of Lakeview; his wife, Cindy (Cordle) Minix; daughter, Amanda Stigall of Gahanna; sons, Jon Minix of Milton, FL and Joshua (Courtney) Minix of Middleburg, FL; stepdaughter, Courtney (Brad) Porter of Springfield; stepson, Brandon Davis of Springfield; 11 grandchildren; sisters, Tina Allemang of Ft. Wayne, IN, Teresa Ovall of Toledo, OH, Patty (David) Connor of Kenton, and Tammie Henson of Florida; brother, Leonard (Sandy) Minix of Lima; stepbrothers, Jeff (Heidi) Parker of Lakeview, Jerry (Marcy) Parker, Dwayne (Julie) Parker, Rick (Katie) Parker of Alger; and stepsister, Vicky (Scott) King of Bellefontaine.
Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 7, 2018 in the WALTER & LEWIS FUNERAL HOME, Urbana, where a service will be held at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in the Dayton National Cemetery.
