Thomas Edward Shope Sr., 73, of Urbana, died on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 in his residence. He was born December 3, 1941 in Springfield, OH, a son of Earl and Marie (Bettis) Shope. He is survived by a son, Thomas E. Tommy Shope Jr. of Urbana; 3 nieces; 2 nephews; and several friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Linda (Boldman) Shope; 2 brothers, Robert and Richard; and a sister, Carol. The family is being served by WALTER & STOWE FUNERAL HOME, Urbana.
