Toni L. Gordley

Toni Lynn Gordley, age 79 of Urbana, Ohio, passed away November 18, 2023. She was born on August 5, 1944 in Urbana, the daughter of the late Wallace K. and Susan M. (Scott) Humphreys. Toni was preceded in death by her first husband, James L. Appel and second husband, Jerry Gordley. She is survived by her daughter, Lindsey Appel; granddaughter, Kaitlynn Appel; great-grandson, Kaidryck Masters; and brother, Keith Humphreys. Toni retired from Urbana City Schools where she was a secretary at South Elementary. She was a member of First Baptist Church where she enjoyed serving the Lord wherever she was needed. Toni enjoyed going to the movies, playing cards, family get-togethers and playing with her great-grandson. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 22 at 1p.m. in the Mausoleum at Oak Dale Cemetery. Chaplain Rick Johnson will be officiating.
